Despite the uncertainties of planning a major event during the COVID-19 pandemic, the West Valley Mavericks Foundation pulled off its most successful Maverick Golf Tournament to date, drawing 344 golfers to the Wigwam resort in Litchfield Park and raising more than $300,000 for local charities, including Make-A-Wish Arizona.
